On the HiFleet vessel map, search by vessel name, IMO, MMSI, or call sign. Open the vessel to view the latest AIS position, speed, course, destination, and ETA. Also check the last update time.
Positions come from terrestrial and satellite AIS and are highly timely, but not always continuously absolute real-time. Update speed depends on vessel status, AIS broadcasts, coverage, and processing delay.
Terrestrial AIS mainly covers coastal and port areas; satellite AIS fills gaps in open ocean and poorly covered waters. HiFleet combines both for global vessel tracking.
Open historical track playback from the vessel map or vessel profile for a selected time range. Coverage and available history depend on account permissions and product plan.
