The FPSO Montara Venture (facility) is a converted 146,251 S.d.w.t. tanker with approx. 157,666 cu.m. total crude oil storage capacity (approx. 991,680 bbls.), presently operating at 98 percent cargo capacity of 153,580 cu.m. (965,982 bbls). However, storage capacity is limited to 135,140 cu.m. (850,000 bbls.) during the dry season (May to October) and 119,240 cu.m. (750,000 bbls.) during the wet season (November to April). Offtake Vessels are moored in tandem, with the offtake vessel’s bow to the FPSO's stern, via a mooring hawser arrangement giving approx. 75.0 m. separation.
