Decommissioned in March 2011, FPSO Cossack Pioneer was replaced by the FPSO Ohka, a converted tanker of 157,823 d.w.t. with a total oil capacity of approx. 153,246 cu.m. (964,528 bbls.). Oil is produced from subsea wells and stored in the facility crude oil storage tanks. Offtake tankers are moored bow to stern of the Ohka with a 55 m. long combination chain/rope hawser. There is capability for a quick-release for the hawser, but this is only used for emergency disconnection.
