Port Code: AUPTLCommercial port serving the city of Rockhampton and surrounding area. The Port of Rockhampton, formerly known as the Port Alma Shipping Terminal, is the largest hazardous goods hub in the nation. The principal cargoes handled are Class 1 explosives, ammonium nitrate, bulk tallow and military equipment. All berths are owned and operated by Gladstone Ports Corporation, which is owned by Queensland Government.
