The port is divided into five main parts; Sydney Cove and Darling Harbour, both handling cruise and local passengers, White Bay for cruise passengers and breakbulk cargo, Glebe Bay for dry bulk and Gore Cove for liquid bulk. In addition, there are many berths and pontoons for military vessels, repairs, barges, coastal traffic, leisure craft and tourist boats. Sydney Ports Corporation is now trading as Port Authority of New South Wales following the amalgamation of Sydney, Newcastle and Port Kembla port corporations.
