Globally important bulk cargo and regional offshore support port. The port district consists of three areas Mina Saqr, RAK Maritime City and Stevin Harbour. Mina Saqr also handles containers through a dedicated terminal, in addition to breakbulk, bulk, project, Ro-Ro and petroleum cargoes. Port works throughout 24/7. RAK Maritime City has 5.0 km. of quay frontage, including private and common user berths. Cargoes handled include aggregates, animal feed, bauxite, clinker, cement (to road tankers), grain, gypsum, iron ore, limestone, petroleum products and soda ash. Most berths are multi-user facilities. Stevin Rock Harbour is dedicated to handling bulk cargo.
